To bounce quickly though all of your open Word or Excel documents, press Ctrl+F6.

Recovery Time

If you're paranoid about system crashes, you can reduce the default Auto Recover time from 10 minutes to a single minute [ in 1-minute increments ] by selecting Tools > Options > Save and filling in a new Auto Recover time under " Save options ." This also works in Excel.

Lose the Link

To stop Word from turning Web addresses into hyperlinks, select Format > auto Format tab, uncheck "{Replace } Internet and network paths with hyperlinks." Then click the AutoFormat As You Type tab, and under "replace as you type," uncheck "Internet and network paths with hyperlinks," and click Ok.

True Images

To restore an imported graphic to its original size, press Ctrl and double click the graphic. When you resize a graphic, you can see the percentage of the graphic's original height and width by selecting Format > Picture > Size { under Scale }.
