On Monday, December 1, 2008 we will complete a further update of our mail restrictions; no un-authenticated connections will be allowed to our mail server. For users who have followed CCC instructions for email set-up this change should not impact service.

New Services
Power redundancy will be featured at the CCC Elk Rapids headquarters. After the Energy crisis that predicted up to 45 hours without power, we have begun the process of deploying energy redundancy with renewable resources. Initially the project will include gas generators, but will expand to include solar generators.
Internet Telephone (VoIP) packages are here! Packages and pricing will be available on our website and will be distributed separately. All customers within the CCC network qualify for service. Packages may require additional equipment to utilize existing analog phones.
On Demand Hotspot packages are available to our current monthly customers at the reduced rate of only $12 per month. Access the internet throughout the CCC network with a usernames ending in @FP (FP = Fixed Point). Equipment
CCC will continue to offer over the phone support for CCC services, which include internet access, web hosting and email, and telephone (VoIP). We continue to resolve network issues without fee.
Issues resolved by CCC technicians that are related to customer’s devices including failure, changes initiated by the customer, access to specific sites, and computer specific issues will be billable. This list is not comprehensive of all billable examples.
For over the phone and at locale support, rates have been moved to $65 for each hour including travel time; please add mileage at $0.35 cents per mile from Elk Rapids headquarters to your location. Replacement equipment costs will be billed at current market rates when repairing out of warranty or warranty excluded failures.
Service
As part of an annual review, CCC has completed a billing audit. As a part of the completed audit, our customers have been moved to our standard pricing.
Expansion
CCC is focused on delivering quality High Speed internet across our entire network. We will continue over the next 30 days to evaluate existing infrastructure and making network management a priority. Current efforts are improving service overall. CCC may still require a site visit to each location to make several software changes to assist and improve network management.
