Expansion
Cherry Capital Connection has acquired Charlevoix Wireless! By streamlining the two companies, a more stable and effect Internet service provider is sustained. CCC is focused on delivering quality High Speed internet across our current 13 county network.
Service expansion is progressing well in Leelanau County near Leland. CCC estimates over 75 homes without High Speed will now have the option to subscribe to CCC service. Hotspot expansion in Mackinaw City and Mackinac Island has increased user satisfaction and the area for available services.
Billing
We have invoice issues over the past 60 days; in light of such issues no fiancé charges have been assessed. Please issue payment as promptly as possible.
Support
Please help us welcome our new staff members! Our newest additions include a Business management team with excellent reputations. As well as a new support installer. Cherry Capital Connection is also interviewing to acquire two (2) additional support personnel over the next 30-60 days.
New Services
Internet Telephone (VoIP) packages have been delayed. Phone service at the Elk Rapids office and remote locations will occur during August 2008. Customer packages should be available before late to mid-September. CCC will be the first fulltime client on the Internet telephone service. If we experience any issues at the 866-870-9970 or local 231-264-9970, our back up phone numbers include 231-590-5217 for after hours support and 734-929-2661 for customer service.
Packages and pricing will be available on our website and will be distributed separately. All customers within the CCC network qualify for service. Packages may require additional equipment to utilize existing analog phones.
On Demand Hotspot packages are available for a significant discount to our current monthly customers. Access the internet throughout the CCC network from your laptop for only $12 per month. Usernames will end in @FP (FP = Fixed Point)
Equipment
We continue to encourage any customer with equipment more than a year old to move to Commercial grade hardware at a reduced rate. Equipment installed before Commercial grade standardization included only a 6 month warranty. Current commercial grade equipment now provides a 1 year warranty.
ˇ Each warranty excludes electrical damage or tampering.
Replacement equipment costs will be billed at current market rates when repairing out of warranty or warranty excluded failures.
Please remember CCC now requires email that is hosted on outside domains to follow current industry standards for email, especially reverse DNS pointers for their mail servers and domains. Please notify CCC if you experience any email failures or blocks. Password security is increased by using a minimum of a 7 character alpha-numeric password. Each password should contain at least 1 letter and 1 number. Passwords can be updated over the web by visiting web mail through our home page Email Access link. Questions regarding web mail may be answered by our updated web mail instructions.
