Expansion
Hotspot access expansion is planned for June in Mackinaw City, Mackinac Island and Leelanau County. Additional locations will increase current user satisfaction and reach a greater number of consumers. CCC is focused on delivering quality High Speed internet across our current 13 county network. We strive to offer all users the opportunity to utilize High Speed internet. Your continued support and assistance is appreciated.
Services
Telephone (VoIP) packages will be available during 2008. CCC packages will interface with most broadband connections. Family and Friends will talk for FREE on inter-network calls. Packages will require additional equipment and will interface with existing analog phones.
CCC reaches thousands of Residents & Visitors interested in making the most of our region. Grab attention for your Business by emailing sales@cccwifi.com. Package sizes will begin with a logo and 2 to 3 lines of text and a link to your website; all information must be provided by the customer.
Equipment
We continue to encourage any customer with equipment more than a year old to move to Commercial grade hardware at a reduced rate. Equipment installed before Commercial grade standardization included only a 6 month warranty. Current commercial grade equipment now provides a 1 year warranty.
· Each warranty excludes electrical damage or tampering.
Costs will be billed at current market rates when repairing out of warranty or warranty excluded failures.
Support
CCC will continue to offer free over the phone support for CCC supplied services, and resolve network issues without fee. Issues outside of our included services that are resolved by CCC are billable. This includes but is not limited to internal network support, user devices and non-network issues.
CCC also offers annual and monthly contracts for internal network support at reduced rates!
Please help us welcome our new staff members! New employees are still learning the network and working to reach our high standards for customer service. We look forward to the time when they will make changes and updates more quickly and positively.
Please remember CCC now requires email hosted on outside domains to follow current industry standards, especially reverse DNS pointers for mail servers and domains. Please remember to utilize fully qualified outbound authentication. Please notify CCC if you experience issues or blocks.
· Travelers should utilize email outbound port 587 instead of port 25.
CCC recommends using a min 7 character alpha-numeric password, which contain at least 1 letter, 1 number and 1 special character. Passwords can be updated over the web by visiting web mail through our home page Email Access link. Remember, our home page offers instructions pages to answer questions regarding desktop mail programs and web mail.
